As the Director of Nursing Services , your nursing and leadership experience will promote quality care as you plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Rose Linn is focused on providing LTC. We are not a quick turn rehab facility. Our resident population is stable. To be a successful candidate you must be resident focused. You must demonstrate you have a passion for quality care and regulatory compliance.
Other must have qualifications include:
  • An active and unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Past Experience as a Resident Care Manager in a long term care setting.
  • Comprehensive Clinical Assessment Skills gained on the job or through specialized training
  • Experience with MDS assessment and RAI process, preferred.
  • Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records Systems.
  • Possess great communication and people skills.
  • Have great time management, organizational and stress management skills.
  • The ability to problem-solve.
  • A RN with a positive attitude; someone who is resident focused; and and longevity with a company is the person we are looking for to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop and direct the nursing service department, in accordance with current state and federal rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Organize and coordinate admissions and resident care procedures.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day operation of the nursing department.
  • Participate in facility survey, resolving issues and deficiencies when identified.
  • Manage record-keeping systems and procedures.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training new nursing staff.
