Job Description

Come help lead a fun hard-working team! Looking for someone who cares about the well being of both their employees and the residents. We are looking for an innovative and motivated Director of Nursing that is able to create an environment of excellence for our nursing staff as well as provide quality and loving care to our wonderful residents. We are looking for someone who is a leader and can lead our time to excellence. Auburn Post-Acute is ready to take our performance to the next level, and we need to the right leader to help get us there. As the Director of Nursing some of your duties may include but are not limited to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the nursing service in order to meet the total needs of the residents. You must help maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objectives of the facility and be in accord with the laws set forth by state and federal regulations. The DON must also be a role model for the nursing staff in problem solving and professional conduct with residents, families, physicians, community resources and other personnel.

Responsible for the planning, organization, direction, supervision and evaluation of the nursing services provided in the center Ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implementation of center core nursing programs Ensures maintenance of records and reports for resident care Ensures the orientation and training of all nursing services personnel Manages the nursing services department within budget Follows all center policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Current state RN licensure without enforcement Previous DON experience of 2
  • 3 years or more preferred Offer of employment will be contingent on passing a background check.
