Job Description

Director of Nursing (DON, RN) Carrier Mills Nursing & Rehabilitation - Carrier Mills, IL Carrier Mills Nursing & Rehabilitation is a close-knit, skilled nursing facility known for its strong census, supportive team culture, and commitment to truly compassionate care. From short-term rehabilitation supported by our in-house therapy services to long-term care, our focus is always on dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Our team works collaboratively, supports one another, and takes pride in the meaningful relationships built with residents and families every day. As part of our continued growth, we are excited to share that our current Director of Nursing is stepping into another role within our organization. With that transition, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to step into this key leadership position and continue the strong foundation already in place.
What We Offer Competitive Salary:

Key Responsibilities Oversee all nursing operations and clinical compliance Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team Ensure high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident experience Drive quality improvement initiatives and staff development Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (ADON/DON preferred) Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations Proven ability to lead teams, manage clinical operations, and build positive culture Excellent communication and organizational skills If you're a strong clinical leader looking for a role where you can truly make an impact—while being supported by a team that cares—we'd love to connect with you.
