Director of Patient Services

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Operations (DOO), the Director of Patient Services is responsible for overseeing and improving all front-end patient business services across Outpatient Medical Center clinics. This role ensures efficient patient flow, high-quality customer service, regulatory compliance, and alignment with local, state, and federal guidelines. The Director leads patient services staff, implements Board and Executive priorities, oversees daily front desk operations, and provides regular performance and operational reports to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise all patient services and front desk operations, including registration, scheduling, check-in/check-out, collections, and patient satisfaction processes Ensure compliance with HIPAA, sliding fee discount policies, billing documentation, and front-office audits Manage and evaluate patient services staff, including hiring recommendations, training, scheduling, and performance oversight Collaborate with clinic leadership, billing, QA/QI, and executive teams to improve operational efficiency and patient access Monitor clinic productivity, patient flow, staff-to-provider ratios, and no-show reduction efforts Address and resolve patient complaints related to business services in accordance with organizational policies Support grant reporting, business improvement initiatives, safety inspections, and Joint Commission requirements Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
