About the Role We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily operational processes within a fast-paced environment. This position focuses on driving efficiency, maintaining compliance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. Mentor and coach team members to support career growth and operational success. Operational Excellence Oversee day-to-day logistics and transportation activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules. Coordinate inbound and outbound operations, including loading and unloading processes. Implement process improvements using data-driven decision-making. Safety & Regulatory Leadership Enforce safety protocols and compliance standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate hazards. Maintain adherence to all regulatory and company standards. Resource & Asset Management Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and operational resources. Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for vehicles and equipment. Customer Service Excellence Act as primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels. Resolve operational challenges promptly and effectively. Financial Stewardship Assist in budget development and monitor expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in transportation or logistics. CDL A License (Preferred). Strong knowledge of transportation operations and safety regulations. Skills & Competencies Leadership and team development Operational planning and resource management Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Schedule Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and adapt to changing operational needs.
