Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An Interim Director of Pharmacy opportunity is available to oversee the pharmacy operations in a community hospital setting. This role is based in Culpeper, Virginia, conveniently close to the DC metro area. The hospital has 100 beds and an average daily census ranging from 20 to 40 patients, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department Supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and oversee related processes Participate in leadership and departmental meetings to collaborate on hospital initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Virginia Pharmacist license is required Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience Familiarity with healthcare technology systems such as Meditech and Omnicell Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage team and operations
Schedule:
