Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners by supporting elementary students' communication success in a welcoming school environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the perfect blend of flexibility and professional growth, with full-time hours during the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. The assignment involves working closely with students across 1-2 school sites, providing exceptional speech-language pathology services through both traditional and teletherapy modalities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in pediatric settings, particularly within school environments Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital tools for remote service delivery Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and communication needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group speech-language therapy sessions for elementary-aged children Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and parents to coordinate student progress and integrate therapy strategies in the classroom Complete timely and accurate documentation for IEPs and compliance with school and federal guidelines Utilize teletherapy technology to provide high-quality remote services as needed Support a positive, encouraging, and inclusive educational atmosphere for all students Perks of the
