Job Description

The Director of Player Development is responsible for leading and managing the casino's player development team to drive VIP customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. This role focuses on building strong relationships with high-value players, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maximizing revenue through strategic marketing, targeted promotions, and personalized experiences. The Director oversees host performance, sets departmental goals, and collaborates closely with marketing, hotel, and gaming operations to ensure seamless and rewarding player experience. Ensures compliance with all tribal, local, state, and federal gaming regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. A minimum of (7) years of experience in casino player development, marketing, or guest services, with at least three (3) years in a leadership or management role. Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with VIP/high-value players and delivering high-quality guest experiences. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team. Proficiency in player tracking software and casino management systems. Solid understanding of player reinvestment strategies, comp policies, and revenue-driving promotional programs. Analytical skills with experience in player worth analysis, data reporting, and KPI management. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and attend off-site events as required. Professional appearance, high energy, and a guest-focused attitude. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona. Tribal preference will be given to qualified tribal applicants.
