$160,000 - $200,000 About the Company The Company delivers specialty-specific, high-acuity billing support to medical groups and surgical centers nationwide. With legal, clinical, and coding experts under one roof, we act as a strategic extension of our clients' teams, protecting their revenue and streamlining operations. Since 2008, they have scaled by prioritizing accountability, transparency, and measurable financial results for every partnership. Position Overview The Chief Client Officer (CCO) is seeking an execution-focused Director of Revenue Cycle Operations to serve as a strategic architect and an extension of the executive office. The ideal candidate is a system architect capable of translating visionary objectives into scalable, high-performing operational systems. As a core leadership partner, you will lead the development of our RCM infrastructure, bridging departmental silos and refining internal tools to support national expansion. While you will use claims and operational data to proactively surface trends and identify gaps, your primary focus remains on driving strategy, cross-functional alignment, and consistent execution. By maintaining total ownership of departmental scaling and coordinating stakeholders across the organization, you will ensure our operations deliver measurable financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations & Departmental Growth Develop and refine the internal systems and tools used to manage the revenue cycle, ensuring they are optimized for growth and efficiency. Lead the building of RCM operations structure, creating standardized protocols that can be applied across different teams and specialties. Act as the primary connector between departments to ensure everyone is aligned with the company's revenue goals. Turn executive strategies into actionable workflows, ensuring new protocols are not just designed, but consistently adopted by the team. Projects Management Drive multiple concurrent, high-impact projects from initial discovery through testing, implementation, and follow-through. Investigate root causes of revenue loss or denial patterns, develop practical solutions, and validate those solutions through controlled testing before broader implementation. Track project progress across stakeholders, remove bottlenecks, and ensure initiatives continue moving forward without constant executive involvement. Ensure validated solutions translate into operational change by confirming billing workflows, protocols, and processes are updated and consistently adopted across relevant teams. Team Collaboration Serve as an extension of the Chief Client Officer in project-related discussions with office managers and internal stakeholders. Translate the CCO's objectives into actionable direction for project stakeholders and ensure initiatives are executed accordingly. Drive accountability, follow-through, and alignment across contributors to ensure projects reach completion in a timely and effective manner. Data Analysis & Research Identify and research clusters of denied claims that fall outside standard patterns, particularly when expanding into new markets, states, or specialties. Use claims and operational data to proactively surface trends, breakdowns, and emerging revenue cycle issues that require deeper investigation or focused intervention. Synthesize complex findings into clear, concise summaries that support timely and informed leadership decisions. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Billing, or Healthcare Analytics is required. A strong command of the terminology and concepts related to claims and denials is essential. Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong commitment to seeing projects through to completion and the ability to independently drive towards established objectives without requiring constant supervision. Ability to comfortably engage with executives and effectively manage-up managers while maintaining a direct and clear communication style.
