Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Manage the department to achieve an effective and economic operation. Communicate with Indiana Gaming Commission, state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies, Security, management, and Human Resources; is an in-direct report to the General Manager. Assure gaming integrity and the protection of assets. Develop, enforce, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Monitor surveillance activities to assure compliance with policy and procedures and to report all irregularities to appropriate management or agency. Manage duties, coach and counsel, and evaluate performance of staff. Review shift reports for accuracy and precision. Appraise CFO of shift activities and staff member activities. Assure gaming integrity and the protection of company assets. Recruit, hire, and ensure staff is properly trained. Write and submit surveillance activity reports to the Indiana Gaming Commission and senior management. Perform special monitoring and investigations as directed. Coordinate the purchase, installation, and maintenance of related equipment. Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.) Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.Other Job Functions:
Perform other surveillance duties as assigned. Attend, and assist as needed, training provided within and outside the department. High School or better.
