The organization operates within a Christian-based, non-denominational culture that emphasizes integrity, respect, accountability, ethical conduct, and a strong work ethic. The Talent and Recruiting Leader is a hands-on, culture-driven professional who builds strong and sustainable workforce pipelines in a rural market. This is an individual contributor role focused on hiring results rather than HR administration, with approximately 80% of the role dedicated to recruiting and 20% to HR and compliance support. The Director of Talent and Culture reports to the CEO and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and works closely with the Chief Business Officer and the HR Manager. Responsibilities Build and maintain non-traditional recruiting pipelines through churches, private Christian schools, homeschool networks, learning centers, community organizations, and trade-adjacent groups. Actively recruit production, mechanical, and entry-level talent. Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure the right skills, character, cultural fit, and long-term potential. Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding across the organization. Represent the company in schools, churches, and community settings. Support structured interviewing, hiring documentation, onboarding, and basic compliance processes. Who succeeds in this role Strong people and relationship-building skills. Comfortable with cold outreach, public speaking and community recruiting. Strong judgment when evaluating potential candidates. Comfortable working in a strong Christian environment. Mission-driven and business-minded. Requirements Education level, not required. Minimum 1 year of experience in recruiting or leading talent efforts in manufacturing/production, faith-based or education organizations, workforce or trade programs, or rural and limited-labor markets. Compensation Base salary $85K-$115K. Performance bonus tied to hiring and retention. Relocation assistance, if neeeded.
