This is a weekend position which will require availability in the evening on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or portioning under supervision. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is cleaned and ready for service. Follow strict food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage the flow of dirty and clean items during busy service periods. Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards throughout the kitchen area. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, or banquet experience is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail. Experience supporting catering or hotel operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude are essential for thriving in our fast-paced environment.
