Mission for Position The Dishwasher provides an exceptional dining experience by delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals that we would confidently serve to our own families. Position Overview The Dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment within the Dietary department. This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. The Dishwasher supports the dietary team by assisting with kitchen organization, restocking supplies, and helping maintain a smooth workflow during meal service. This role contributes to the overall quality and safety of patient, resident, and staff dining experiences at Lakewood Health System. Position Type This is a part-time position working 36 hours per pay period. Shift offerings are 7:00am-3:30pm and 11:00am-7:30pm. Every other weekend and some holidays are required. Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older Ideal Candidate A dependable, compassionate team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. They demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage multiple tasks, follow procedures accurately, and collaborate with others to deliver high-quality meal service. Prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is key.
