Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an excellent dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste in a timely manner. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in bussing tables or serving in a food service capacity is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
