Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning techniques. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and cleaning workstations to support the culinary team. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is properly cleaned and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times, ensuring timely turnaround of clean items. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Dispose of waste responsibly and recycle materials according to facility guidelines to promote environmental sustainability. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables or assisting with food prep, is a plus. Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments can be advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).
