Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of dish stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards. Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices. Experience with catering or banquet events is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support kitchen operations seamlessly. Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn culinary processes such as food preparation or serving.
