Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator, where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this role, you will carry out front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless communication between patients and medical staff. Your expertise in medical administrative support and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. Duties Greet patients and assist with patient intake processes Schedule appointments accurately using medical scheduling software Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls and taking detailed messages Maintain and update patient billing records within EHR systems Review documentation for accuracy, ensuring treatment charts mirror billing, and all protocols are followed Handle billing and collect payment efficiently while adhering to office policies and procedures Assist with filing, data entry, and general clerical tasks to support clinic operations and office management
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative role Strong knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Comfortable discussing treatment totals and payment with patients in person and over the phone Familiarity with medical terminology/medical aesthetics is a plus Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Google Office applications and office management software Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality at all times Prior clinic or dental office experience is desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and medical records management Knowledge of skincare, injectables, facial treatments, etc is desirable Join us in making a meaningful difference in patient's confidence and wellbeing by providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
