Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as directed by kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety compliance Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage workload during busy service periods and special events Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper waste disposal and sanitation practices Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
