Responsibilities & Expectations Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, kitchen tools, and equipment efficiently and consistently throughout service Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all dish, kitchen, storage, and service areas Ensure all cleaned items are properly stocked and returned to their designated stations in a timely manner Keep dish pit and kitchen floors clean, dry, organized, and safe throughout the shift Assist with trash, recycling, cardboard, and compost removal as needed Support opening, closing, and deep cleaning responsibilities Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for both guests and team members Monitor dish machine functionality and communicate maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately Properly handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures according to health and safety standards Assist kitchen team with basic prep, organization, and operational support when needed Follow all Department of Health, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times Work with urgency and awareness while maintaining attention to detail and organization Support teammates and contribute to a respectful, positive, and team-oriented work environment Maintain a professional appearance, strong hygiene, and dependable attendance Take pride in contributing to the flow, cleanliness, and overall guest experience of the restaurant Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed to support smooth service operations
