Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients when needed Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting dining areas quickly and courteously Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards in all cleaning activities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices in a food service environment Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering operations is a plus Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols Previous restaurant or hotel experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or cleaning tools is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your attention to detail and proactive spirit help create memorable dining experiences.
