Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. If you have a passion for food service and hospitality, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within the restaurant industry. This is a part time position starting at 2 days a week and growing into full time in the summer time. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with bussing tables and maintaining the dining area by clearing away used dishes and utensils. Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain overall kitchen hygiene. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus. Experience in banquet service or culinary roles can be beneficial. A strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced atmosphere.
