Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support overall restaurant flow. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Participate in cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to keep the workspace sanitary. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing or cleaning enhances your candidacy. Experience with banquet events or catering environments is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety protocols is advantageous. A background in hospitality or hotel service can provide valuable transferable skills.
