Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning procedures. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware from dining areas. Follow food handling and safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times. Help with catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with cleanup afterward. Keep the work area organized, restock supplies as necessary, and dispose of waste properly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, food handling, or basic food prep is advantageous. Experience working at hotels or in catering settings can be beneficial for understanding diverse service needs. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
