$17.50 General Responsibilities The Kitchen Porter supports the smooth operation of the office kitchen and break areas by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization. Key duties include washing dishes and utensils, cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances, restocking supplies (e.g., coffee, tea, cutlery), and ensuring waste is properly disposed of. The role may also involve assisting with light food prep for meetings or events. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a professional office environment. Specific Duties /

Essential Functions:

Sanitize and clean food prep areas Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, or other cookware Empty and clean dishwashers (if applicable) Wipe down walls and other general equipment, including microwaves, toasters, and coffee makers Wash and disinfect all prep boards, surfaces, slicers, and utensils Empty trash cans around the property, replacing trash bags Clean and disinfect all waste bins and areas after emptying garbage Sweep and mop kitchen floors and common areas Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable) Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas Maintain janitor closets in a clean and organized Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations. Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively. Physical Requirements:

Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift 35 lbs., and carry 12 lbs. backpack vacuum, as needed. Good hygiene skills are required.
