Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters and floors, adhering to health and safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas to support smooth restaurant operations. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and assisting with basic food handling. Ensure proper storage of clean items to prevent cross-contamination and maintain inventory organization. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods. Follow all sanitation procedures related to catering, banquet events, or hotel services to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous. Experience in banquet settings or catering environments can be beneficial for supporting large-scale events. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
