Responsibilities Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables promptly, and maintaining a tidy dining area. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic assembly or garnishing under supervision. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing serving stations and ensuring cleanliness throughout events. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including floors, workstations, and storage spaces. Follow food handling safety procedures to ensure proper hygiene and prevent contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth service flow during busy hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guests. Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus; banquet or hotel experience is beneficial. Basic understanding of kitchen operations or culinary experience can enhance performance but is not mandatory.
