Job Overview The Hartville Pantry located in Historic downtown Hartville is seeking a part time Dishwasher/Busser/Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. This position is perfect for individuals who are local to Hartville and enjoy working in a culinary setting, supporting both the kitchen staff and front-of-house operations. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure a clean kitchen environment. Assist in bussing tables by clearing away dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after guests have finished their meals. Run food to tables when servers are not available. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces as needed. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation practices. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic culinary terms and practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Must be able to lift items up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. A positive attitude and good attendance are essential traits for success in this role.
