Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste properly. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene protocols. Support serving staff during busy service times by bussing tables and clearing dishes efficiently. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used responsibly to uphold health and safety standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with food handling safety practices is a plus. Experience with catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to excel in this role. Kitchen experience including cleaning, basic cooking, or food prep is highly valued. A background in hospitality or hotel service can contribute to understanding guest expectations and teamwork dynamics.
