Duties Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and workstations by thoroughly washing and sanitizing items after use Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items to support culinary staff Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring serving stations are stocked and organized Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety standards and hygiene regulations Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining a tidy work environment Busing tables and clearing dishes during service to facilitate smooth dining experiences Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food prep and efficient service delivery Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and assist with food preparation efficiently Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to commercial kitchens or hospitality settings Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy periods Knowledge of banquet or large event catering is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining focus on detail-oriented tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant hospitality environment.
