Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. This position is essential to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food preparation in a high-volume setting. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware, utensils, and cookware Maintain a clean and organized dish station and kitchen area Assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing simple dishes Take out trash and follow sanitation guidelines to keep the kitchen safe and clean Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service Handle kitchen equipment safely and properly Support chefs and cooks as needed

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen is a plus but not required—willing to train the right candidate Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
