Job Opening:

Dishwasher & Prep Assistant ​We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher / Prep Assistant to join our team for a high-volume summer season. This is a dual-role position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen and mobile catering operation. ​Key Responsibilities ​

Dish & Sanitation:

Manage high-volume dishwashing and ensure all service ware and cookware are cleaned to health safety standards. ​

Deep Cleaning:

Execute routine deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and station areas. ​

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform essential equipment upkeep, including safely changing fryer oil and maintaining cleaning machinery. ​

Prep Support:

Assist the culinary team by maintaining prep levels—tasks include portioning proteins, preparing sauces, and organizing inventory. ​

Logistics:

Assist with loading and unloading food trucks for off-site events. ​Requirements ​

Physical Stamina:

This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and comfortably lift and carry up to 50 lbs at waist level. ​

Experience:

Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. ​

Efficiency:

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks during peak service hours. ​Compensation ​

Entry Level:

Starting at $16/hour for candidates without prior experience. ​

Experienced:
