Job Description

Location:
In person with one day remote per week (Eastern Time)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-5:00 PM ET (split shift, ~20 hrs/week)
Term:
June 1 through mid-August 2026
Compensation:
[$20/hr] About Shuttlebee Shuttlebee provides the technology, training, and insurance infrastructure that lets local operators safely transport kids in small vehicles. The role You're the human in the loop during the two windows that matter most: morning drop-off and afternoon pickup. When a parent texts that their kid is running late, a driver hits traffic, or a camp changes its pickup location day-of, you keep routes moving and families informed. This isn't passive monitoring. You'll triage in real time across multiple routes, make judgment calls about rerouting and communication, and document everything so we can refine the system between shifts. What you'll do Confirm route schedules and ensure drivers/trainers have completed route onboarding prior to day 1 Monitor live routes during AM and PM windows; track driver check-ins, on-time performance, and student boardings Ensure pre-check and post-checks are completed accurately Field parent calls and texts: late arrivals, no-shows, day-of schedule changes Coordinate with drivers in real time on traffic, weather, vehicle issues, and last-minute cancellations Proactively communicate with families and camp staff when anything affects pickup or drop-off timing Log incidents and operational notes for post-shift review Escalate safety concerns immediately per Shuttlebee protocol You'll do well here if you Stay calm and decisive when three things are happening at once Communicate clearly and warmly with anxious parents, busy drivers, and camp staff who don't have time for ambiguity Are comfortable working a dashboard and a phone simultaneously (we train on our tools) Have a child-safety-first mindset Can commit to the full summer with consistent availability for both shift blocks Bonus Prior dispatch, logistics, customer service, or school/camp ops experience Requirements Reliable home workspace, high-speed internet, quiet environment for calls Smart Phone, Computer Abililty to pass Background checks Ability to serve AM, PM or both shifts for the entire 10-week period plus training period prior Potential to extend past 10-week summer camp program

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
