Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage transportation activities and deliver exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and satisfied clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart growing demand and supply chain operations, utilizing your analysis skills and communication expertise to drive success every day. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for customers, operators, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate call orders using transportation management systems. Monitor GPS to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure efficient transportation planning. Utilize transportation management systems to update data entry records accurately, including pick ups & receiving logs and fleet management information. Manage schedules, documentation, and calls in timelines while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within a logistic, transportation or call center environment; familiarity with transportation management systems highly desirable. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GPS, dispatching programs for effective decision-making. Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers, drivers, and accounts. Proficiency in data entry using dispatching programs and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently on multi-line phone systems. Knowledge of automotive, dispatching procedures, fleet management practices, and transportation planning principles. Ability to multi task, dispatching multiple calls to our tow trucks and service vehicles to enhance efficiency and reduce waiting time. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
