Job Description

Dispatcher/Route Coordinator Support 1430 South 28th Street, Van Buren, AR 72956 Dispatcher/Route Coordinator Support Cadence Petroleum Group is a fast growing automotive, commercial and industrial lubricant distributor headquartered in Asheboro, NC. The Dispatcher will be responsible for planning a fleet of trucks/drivers to ensure optimum productivity, service levels and revenue. This position will be in the Van Buren, AR office.
Requirements:
Dispatch experience preferred but not required Experience in the trucking/logistics industry dispatching preferred. Must be exceptional with driver and customer relations. Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Good understanding of FMCSR's (Hours of Service and Axle Weight & Spacing) Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations or willing to learn Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to think independently and resolve problems as they arise without constant supervision Ability to supervise delivery drivers
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, drivers and sales staff Coordinate deliveries for optimal productivity, service levels and revenue Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Conduct monthly product inventories Ability to schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed Answer phone and communicate via email in a professional manner Ability to efficiently use Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) Must have strong computer skills with a working knowledge of inventory control
