Duties Schedule and dispatch drivers using transportation management systems ensuring optimal routing and timing. Communicate with drivers, clients and management via phone and email, providing clear instructions and updates. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, adjust schedules as needed, and troubleshoot any delays or issues in real-time. Utilize analysis skills to evaluate transportation plans, optimize routes, and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver statuses, and drop-off confirmations while adhering to phone etiquette and professional communication standards. Experience Proven experience in transportation planning or logistics coordination within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with use of Google Sheets, Excel and basic phone systems. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette, data entry accuracy, and multi-line phone system operation.
