Guided by quality, scientific excellence, compassion, and innovation, we: Manufacture advanced, scientifically derived medical cannabis products designed to provide effective relief for patients with serious medical conditions as defined by Pennsylvania law. Conduct ongoing research in cultivation, processing, and blending to improve product quality, specificity, and efficacy. Support public health initiatives , including education and research programs addressing the opioid epidemic and the overuse of prescription pain medications. Engage with the community through partnerships with advocacy groups, nonprofits, and educational organizations to promote patient rights and public awareness. Build a team of national experts to maintain our position as a premier provider of high-quality, engineered medical cannabis solutions. What You'll Do. We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dispensary Pharmacist to join our Pennsylvania medical marijuana team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensure compliance with the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program, and support the safe and effective use of medical marijuana products. You will play a key role in promoting a positive and educational patient experience within the dispensary. A licensed pharmacist must be physically present at the dispensary as required by Pennsylvania law during dispensing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmacist oversight of medical marijuana dispensing operations in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) regulations and company policies. Consult with patients regarding medical marijuana therapy, including appropriate product selection, administration methods, onset and duration, potential side effects, and contraindications. Review patient certifications and dispensing history to ensure safe and compliant access to medical marijuana products. Educate patients on possible drug interactions and collaborate with healthcare providers when appropriate to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with all applicable state regulations, including documentation and patient counseling requirements. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records for medical marijuana products. Participate in patient education initiatives and community outreach programs to promote wellness and responsible use. Stay current on industry developments, new products, and best practices in cannabis pharmacotherapy. Train, mentor, and supervise dispensary staff and pharmacy interns as needed.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy ( Pharm.

D .) degree from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist License , in good standing. Ability to meet all Pennsylvania Department of Health credentialing and background requirements for dispensary staff. Previous experience in retail, clinical pharmacy, or healthcare settings preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Willingness to learn and remain current on medical marijuana laws, regulations, and product information.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working in a retail healthcare environment with moderate activity levels. Ability to navigate small spaces, reach shelves, and assist patients as needed. Visual acuity to verify product labeling and patient information. Ability to operate dispensary equipment such as registers, scales, and inventory systems. Comfortable working with and handling various medical marijuana products in compliance with safety protocols.
