Position Overview The Audiologist plays a critical role in improving patients' hearing and communication abilities through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Diagnostics Conduct comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations using advanced audiometric equipment Perform diagnostic testing including pure tone audiometry, speech testing (quiet & noise), immittance testing, and tinnitus assessments Diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular (balance) disorders Treatment & Hearing Solutions Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices Perform real-ear measurements and electroacoustic analysis Guide patients through treatment options including amplification and aural rehabilitation Provide ongoing care, adjustments, and long-term hearing aid management Patient Experience & Counseling Build strong, trusting relationships with patients Provide counseling and education on hearing health and treatment options Support patients emotionally throughout their hearing journey Deliver a personalized, high-touch care experience—every patient should feel like your only patient Collaboration & Growth Work closely with ENT physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care Maintain accurate and timely documentation Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices Qualifications Doctor of Audiology (Au.

D.) from an accredited program Active California Audiology license (or ability to obtain) ASHA Certification (CCC-A) preferred Experience with diagnostic audiology and hearing aid technology Core Competencies Strong diagnostic and analytical skills Excellent communication and counseling abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Patient-centered, empathetic care approach Proficiency with audiology equipment and software Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods Frequent use of hands for fine motor tasks Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus opportunities Full benefits package (health, PTO, holidays) Opportunity to build and grow a meaningful practice Why Join LACENTA?
