Job Description

You will serve as the Distinguished Scientist/Engineer for Digital Engineering of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport RI.
Qualifications:

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
(TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ #1: National Leadership in USW Digital Engineering Ability to provide national leadership and authoritative technical direction in USW Digital Engineering along with expert knowledge and awareness on the methodologies, techniques, and the latest advancements in the state-of-the-art of naval digital engineering technologies and engineering innovations. TQ #2: Rapidly Deliver Digital Engineering Capabilities Ability to plan, lead, and technically supervise efforts that rapidly develop and deliver complex systems that meet digital engineering capability needs through Live Virtual Constructive, Modeling & Simulation, rapid prototyping, experimentation, and demonstration by guiding multidisciplinary teams, managing technical risk, and ensuring implementation and employment outcomes across stakeholders. All Professional Engineering series, 08XX General Physical Science series, 1301 Operation Research Series, 1515 Mathematics Series, 1520 Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
