Vision for Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring, and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of SEN schools in Newport and the surrounding areas. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in education while making a genuine difference in the lives of young people every day. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within specialist educational settings, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve personal milestones in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.   • Moderate Learning Difficulties SLD
  • Severe Learning Difficulties ASC
  • Autism Spectrum Condition EBD
  • Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Assist with classroom activities and lesson delivery Adapt learning resources to suit individual needs Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing Work collaboratively within specialist classroom settings What We're Looking For We welcome applicants with experience in: Education Care / Support Work Youth Work Nursery / Childcare Residential Care Coaching / Mentoring Ideal candidates will have: A patient, positive, and adaptable attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills The ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively Experience supporting children or young people CACHE Level 2/3 qualifications (desirable but not essential) Why Join Vision for Education?
