Job Title:
Distribution Field Technician Job Description Join our team as a Distribution Field Technician where you will collect data and utilize QGIS software for joint use attachments. You will coordinate with clients to ensure accurate data collection through images. Responsibilities Conduct inventory collection in the field for joint use attachments. Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure all images meet data requirements. Travel throughout Georgia and surrounding regions to complete fieldwork. Collect data and ensure it is accurately documented. Assist in storm work as needed. Essential Skills Experience in distribution field technician work. Proficiency in using software to capture data in the field. Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in data collection is a plus. Experience with QGIS Software. Knowledge of Joint Use and staking. Familiarity with power poles. Willingness to travel throughout Georgia. Work Environment You will travel to various sites, primarily along the Georgia and Alabama border, and also work on projects in Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. Expect to travel every week, staying overnight for 3 to 4 nights depending on project needs. The standard workweek consists of four 10-hour days. Opportunities for growth within the company are abundant, with potential to advance into an office position after gaining experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newnan, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
