Jobs › Lincoln, MA › Distribution Network Engineer Insight Global Distribution Network Engineer Lincoln, MA Apply Job Description The Distribution Network Services Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure supporting a federal base in Lexington, MA. This includes fiber optics, copper cabling, AC power systems, and structured cabling. The role is 100% onsite and requires an active Secret clearance due to the sensitive nature of the environment. The ideal candidate will be looking for an hourly range of $50-60/hr Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, twisted pair) Deploy and maintain AC power systems, including UPS units and proper grounding Support base infrastructure for voice, data, and video services across secure networks Perform cable splicing, OTDR testing, and certification of fiber links Maintain and update network documentation, including cable maps and power layouts Collaborate with federal IT teams and contractors to ensure compliance with DoD standards Ensure all work aligns with NEC, ANSI/TIA/EIA, and federal safety regulations Respond to onsite service requests and perform preventive maintenance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
