Job Description

Description The team leader for Distribution oversees daily/weekly operations while ensuring schedule completion. Responsible for Promoting Lean Behaviors across the organization (This includes Participating in Try storming, Brainstorming and Lean Related Initiatives) and promotes usage of Problem Solving. Ensures that Distribution Operations are compliant with the State and Federal Regulations and AATB Standards. Acts as a backup in collaboration with Management to oversee Day to Day Operations. Serves as Subject Matter Expert in training activities for entry level and intermediate Distribution technicians. Serves as Subject Matter Expert in change control initiatives in collaboration with Management while collaborating with Management to perform SOP/ WI dry runs before implementations. Driven by a challenging sense of urgency for customer delivery and quality standards. Uses judgement to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day to today technical operational issues. Requirements Duties and responsibilities 1. Preparation of the Distribution Area as specifically described in SOPs 2. Maintains accurate inventory of released products, both frozen and room temperature. 3. Performs disposition of nonconforming products as directed. 4. Responsible for all data entry and completion of paperwork. 5. Knowledge of information contained in the Tissue Bank Manuals. 6. Responsible for training technicians on new procedures or coordinating the training. 7. Responsible for generating reports from databases used to schedule day to day operations. 8. Responsible for assisting in creating the team's Distribution duties as needed to meet demand. 9. Plans and coordinates IDL activities in alignment with company goals/needs. 10. Responsible for maintaining accurate Inventory of tissue(s) at all times. 11. Perform Inventory activities to align product demand. 12. Responsible for creating daily reports to control Distribution Area and report any discrepancy. 13. Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy. 14. Oversee team's productivity while minimizing downtime. 15. Apply lean principles throughout the entire production process while maintaining effective communication with management when issues arise to ensure proper alignment. Qualifications High School/ Minimum of 6 Years of Relevant Experience. Associate/ Minimum of 3 Years of Relevant experience. Bachelors/ Minimum of 2 Years of Relevant experience. Master/ Minimum of 1 Years of Relevant experience.
Qualifications include:
Strong Interpersonal skills and conflict resolution. Goo documentation skills Written, Verbal and strong communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Provide Proactive Feedback During One-to-One sessions Working conditions Majority of the work is performed indoors, standing, and walking throughout the facility. Occasional warehouse work if needed. Weekend work will be alternated with employees from department. Weekend and/or evening shifts may be required on as needed basis. "On Call" on an as needed basis. Requirements The ability to be able to push boxes up to, but not limited to, 120 lbs. The ability to be able to use hand trucks and pallet jacks both manual and automatic. This role requires operating a company vehicle to perform essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
