Full Time-Permanent Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller with a strong background in construction accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, along with over five years of controller-level experience. This role requires deep expertise in job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, payroll management, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems is essential to drive accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Manage and maintain accurate job costing systems and ensure proper allocation of project costs. Prepare and analyse Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to track project performance and profitability. Administer and supervise payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accuracy in reporting. Develop, monitor, and manage the annual budget and ongoing financial forecasts. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis. Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to improve cost control and financial efficiency. Lead audits, both internal and external, and ensure timely resolution of any findings. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of Controller-level experience. Strong expertise in Construction Accounting, Job costing, and WIP reporting. Strong experience in manage Payroll, Annual Budget, and Forecasts.
