Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dock Production & Finishing Technician with a background in carpentry or related craftsmanship to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, finishing, and quality control of dock components and related products. Your expertise will help ensure that each project meets our high standards for durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Operate various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble dock components with precision and efficiency Use forklift and crane equipment to handle heavy materials safely within the warehouse and production areas Apply industrial and construction painting techniques, including auto body repair and auto painting, to finish surfaces to specifications Utilize precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to ensure parts meet exact dimensions and quality standards Conduct machining, welding, airless paint spraying, and other fabrication processes to produce high-quality finished products Handle materials carefully using proper materials handling procedures to maintain safety and product integrity Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or industrial finishing is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Hands-on experience with warehouse operations, materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes, and assembly processes is highly desirable Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in production workflows Ability to operate precision measuring instruments accurately for quality control purposes Strong understanding of safety protocols related to power tools, welding equipment, crane operation, and industrial painting techniques Previous exposure to construction painting or auto painting environments will be considered an asset Join us as a Dock Production & Finishing Technician where your skills will directly contribute to delivering top-quality dock solutions.
