Dock Worker / Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a Dock Worker and Forklift Operator to work the second shift. This job requires attendance from Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10pm. Overtime is typical and mostly occurs on the weekend Saturday and Sunday if necessary. Working 48 hours per week is common here. This job requires organization and communication in a working production plant. Duties Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts while adhering to OSHA standards. Operate RF scanners and/or warehouse management systems to accurately weigh in and process orders. Manage shipping and receiving duties by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting cargo for damages, and documenting all transactions. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate load & unload schedules and optimize space utilization for efficient materials handling. Experience 2 years' minimum experience required with loading and unloading trailers using a sit-down forklift is a must. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related trailer weight, safety, and capacity. Experience with use of inventory and record-keeping software. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in a fast-paced, production focused environment.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
