Dog Daycare Crew Member

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate self-starter to join our team as a Daycare Crew Member. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our furry friends and their families. This position requires a strong love for animals and the ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment. Primarily, we are seeking weekend crew members for morning, afternoon and evening shifts with potential opportunities for weekday shifts. DUTIES Supervision & Safety Supervise playtime and potty breaks Work with team to manage pack dynamics to ensure every dog has a safe and structured experience Animal Care Provide care for pups including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Monitor the health and behavior of pups, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior Play and engage with pups during individual and group playtime Support pet grooming (as needed) and provide baths when assigned Facility Maintenance Maintain cleanliness of play areas and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Help clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all pups Complete cleaning tasks including (but not limited to) laundry, dishes, and trash removal Customer Service Operate front desk independently utilizing our management software Communicate with customers with professionalism and kindness

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner SKILLS Ability to take direction and work with a team Ability to give and receive critical feedback professionally Ability to regulate personal energy and practice command presence Ability to confidently handle animals and read body language Ability to learn pack dynamics and recognize healthy play Ability to be outside for 3-4 hours at a time when managing playgroups, as weather permits Attention to detail

Reliability Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
