Dog Daycare Manager

Duties Supervise daily dog daycare activities, ensuring all dogs are engaged, safe, and comfortable throughout their stay Train staff on dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices to promote safety and well-being Oversee dog training sessions and reinforce positive behavior management strategies Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including grooming areas and kennels, ensuring compliance with health standards Coordinate pet sitting services and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behavior Monitor for signs of illness or distress in dogs; collaborate with veterinary professionals when necessary Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational logistics to optimize team performance and customer satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or pet sitting roles with a strong understanding of canine behavior Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant work is highly desirable Knowledge of animal handling techniques, animal restraint methods, and kennel management practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle large dogs or move equipment safely Prior leadership experience in a pet care or kennel environment is preferred Certifications in dog training or pet first aid are a plus but not required Join us as a Dog Daycare Manager and lead a passionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of dogs while providing outstanding service to their owners.
