Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. You'll work independently while collaborating with a supportive staff, ensuring each dog receives high-quality, stress-free grooming services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform professional grooming services including bathing, clipping, blow-drying, and styling Prioritize a "comfort first" approach for all dogs Provide nail trims (clip or Dremel), ear cleaning, and teeth brushing Communicate with pet owners regarding coat condition, matting, and care recommendations Build strong client relationships and notify owners when pets are ready for pickup Assist with scheduling and phone inquiries when needed Maintain accurate client records and grooming notes Keep grooming stations clean, sanitized, and well-stocked Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for pets and staff

Qualifications:

Proven experience in dog grooming with a portfolio or track record of breed-standard and/or creative styles Strong understanding of canine behavior and safe handling techniques Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling with morning and afternoon shifts available. Groomers can set their own schedules in collaboration with the Grooming Salon Manager based on availability and business needs.
