Job Description
Domestic Violence Advocate
Key Responsibilities and Duties Providing immediate support via telephone or in-person to survivors in danger. Helping survivors develop personalized, actionable plans for safety. Assisting survivors in navigating legal systems, securing protective orders, accompanying them to court, and finding safe housing. Connecting clients with services such as counseling, financial assistance, and housing. Providing community education on the dynamics of domestic violence and trauma. Maintaining accurate, confidential client records and tracking data for grant reporting.
