Don Bosco Prep Rowing Coaching Opportunities Assistant Coach / Associate Head Coach (Part-Time)

Job description Don Bosco Preparatory High School is seeking motivated and dedicated candidates for part-time coaching positions within the rowing program for the upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, with potential opportunities for summer programming as well. Positions Available Assistant Coach Associate Head Coach Compensation $60-$80 per session (based on experience and qualifications) Seasonal Commitment This is a part-time coaching opportunity spanning: Fall Season Winter Training Season Spring Racing Season Potential Summer Program Opportunities Schedule & Expectations 5-6 practices per week Attendance required at all scheduled practices, regattas, training sessions, and team events Consistent availability throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons is expected Summer coaching opportunities may include camps, novice development, and learn-to-row programming Responsibilities Assist with daily on-water and land training sessions Support athlete development and race preparation Assist with training plan development and seasonal practice planning Support recruiting and athlete retention initiatives within the program Assist with equipment management and boat maintenance Support regatta operations, travel logistics, and trailer transportation when needed Help foster a competitive, disciplined, and team-oriented culture Requirements Current USRowing Level 1 Certification or eligibility to obtain certification Ability to obtain or currently possess a New Jersey boating license Strong commitment to attending all practices and regattas Positive leadership and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous rowing or coaching experience Trailering experience preferred, but not required Experience operating launches and handling rowing equipment Experience with athlete recruitment and training program design preferred To Please submit Resume Brief statement of interest and coaching experience Applications and inquiries can be sent to the Don Bosco Prep Rowing program Head Coach Gabrielle Aloia.
